Sainte-Maxime, Provence city in the heart of Saint-Tropez Gulf.

Only fifteen miles away from Saint-Tropez, Sainte-Maxime has an eleven kilometres long coast, essentially made by white sand beaches and some natural inlets. Famous since the 20th century, Sainte-Maxime is a family seaside resort which were listed "Tourism resort". That shows the quality of services and the implication of the city in tourism.

Culture

Thanks to its former centre and as a city fascinated by art, you will find in its attractive streets, an art gallery and a showroom. Beaches

The city, lined by the sea, proposes you basking in an idyllic environment in one the six family public beaches or on one private beach and their deckchairs and beach umbrellas. Find the Croisette beach which offers a gorgeous panorama on the Golfe of Saint-Tropez and Sainte-Maxime's bay. The city centre beach, next to shops, and Garonnette beach and its transparent water, are waiting for you a few minutes away from the centre of the town. For sports and adventures fans, Madrague and Nartelle beaches welcome you for aquatic hides and water-based recreations. Finally, let children travel in the wonderful world of comic trips with the Elephant beach. Its landscape is famous because it gave the inspiration to the Babar's creator for the marriage of the main character.
